Let's make some noise

A television executive once told me, "You're a noisy writer." She was talking about my work (as opposed to me)  and she meant it as a compliment. 

Or maybe it was compliment-adjacent. Listen. That's how I remember it and no one is here to refute. The way I see it, noise is a quality-over-quantity kind of thing. It's about making a point and having a heart. When we connect through simple stories, we're making all the noise we need.
