Let's make some noise

A television executive once told me, "You're a noisy writer." She was talking about my work (as opposed to me)  and she meant it as a compliment. 

Maybe it was compliment-adjacent. Listen. This is how I remember it and no one is here to refute. And the way I see it, noise is a quality-over-quantity kind of thing. When we connect through simple stories that have a heart, we're making all the noise we need.
