Otis College of Art and Design is a Los Angeles-based college for makers making everything from toys to fashion to sculpture to fine art...all the making. It's also an accredited institution of higher education. With this web design overhaul, content needed to balance creativity with credibility.
Art and design prospects tend to first consume content visually, so a picture really does paint thousand words here. Wayfinding and consistency were also key. I followed a pre-established content strategy closely. When I encountered any dissonance in recommended structures or layouts, we worked together to find fast solutions.
