During the run-up to a general election, I conceived, wrote and directed the short film "Church & State: Jesus at the Polls," with Martin Starr (Tulsa King, Silicon Valley, Freaks and Geeks) in the central role. Veteran actors Pat Crawford Brown (Desperate Housewives and numerous others) and Tara Karsian (SAG-award nominee for The Morning Show) rounded out the cast.
